"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."(Matthew5:17-18)

Absolutely not! Jesus specifically asserted that He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill (or keep) it. Instead of doing away with the law, Jesus magnified it (Isaiah42:21) as the perfect guide for holy living. For example, Jesus expands commandment #6 which forbids murder (Exodus20:13) to also also condemn anger "without a cause" (Matthew5:21-22) and hatred (1John3:15). Jesus also expanded on commandment #7 which forbids adultery (Exodus20:14) to also include lust as a form of adultery (Matthew5:27,28). He said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15).
