A Ford specialist shop wanted to charge me: $303.68 for the part & $64.98 for the labor. After watching this video, I ordered the part and proceeded to install it in about 6 minutes. 4 of those minutes were me looking for my torx bit.

Thank you for this video! You literally saved me over $300.00!

Very helpful! Thank you for the detailed instructions and what to look out for. Dealer wanted $200 to replace it, took me 10 minutes. Cost me $25 bucks, Truck running like a champ!!

Another tip that fixed mine on my 2013 F-150, is to check for corrosion on the prongs of the plug (the female plug). I used a dental tool to clean them out and then applied dielectric grease. No more engine light.

I'm told I can test to see if my mass airflow sensor is the problem by starting my truck and then unplugging the sensor and it's a truck dies it's not the sensor if the truck keeps running it is the sensor. Does anyone know if this is true?

I replaced mine about 5000 miles ago. Yesterday threw a P0171 code, after checking for vacuum leaks I checked the MAF and the screws were loose. I know I torqued them tight before. It’s not a perfect fit like the old MAF, you have to just squeeze the rubber seal and torque the screws very tight. Maybe I should use a plastics thread locker.
Cleared code, runs great. Not sure what MAF voltage should be at idle or under acceleration. ‘14 F150 5.0

Thanks! Ford Service wanted $320 in labor to do this job.

Why can't any body answer a simple question. How do you change a 2003 rv e450 mass air flow sensor.

So confused. I have a 2012 3.5 L eco-boost and it looks nothing like that. It’s the round one.
