The Rapid Fire Attachments are BROKEN in XDefiant! | (ZERO Downsides!)

XDefiant has multiple Rate of Fire improving attachments, the Muzzle Booster & Rapid Fire Barrel, and today I wanted to break these down and share one huge element that's currently broken with these that makes them far more powerful than they should be! What are your thoughts on these rapid fire attachments in XDefiant?

UPDATE: After seeing a few comments from you guys, I went in and did some more testing and it appears these opposite recoil effects are ONLY applying to Assault Rifles. For the other weapon classes, you will be seeing the appropriate increase to recoil.

Ace I would like to point out for burst weapons like the m16 that when you use the rapid fire barrel or muzzle booster theres a chance when you keep shooting that SOME of those bursts will shoot an extra bullet, so instead of shooting 3 bullets per burst itll occasionally shoot a 4 burst. Its extremely weird and it never happens with the first burst but i thought id let people know with this video

I figured this out when i decided to make a "close range" AK class for arena map. Ran both rapid fire attachments as well as pistol grip and quick grip and was shocked to see i was beaming people at far long ranges than i should with the expected recoil penalties.

This is huge news. Are there any other attachments that affect recoil in the opposite way as intended?

Well, at least we know that when this gets fixed, the rapid fire attachments will be situational and not something you slap on every weapon. But uhh, 30% less recoil seems pretty good to me.

I tested this a week ago and yes I've seen this pattern! However only for AR's. The mp7 had more recoil as it should with rapid fire. Did you also notice that?

The question is are those attatchments worth it when they work as intended🤔 The recoil penatly in % is more than all recoil attatchments stacked

Thanks for info and i love the work you do but i did more testing with every full auto gun and this bug is for assault rifles only. i tested the smgs and lmgs and the negatives still applied.
(edit: rapid fire also helps the recoil for the aa12)

I think the rapid fire not applying recoil nerfs correctly isn't the case for every gun, from my own hand testing on the MP7, it's definitely adding more recoil.

My meta build for all ars and lmgs is as follows .

Muzzle booster
Rapid fire barrel
Lightweight stock
Leather wrapped
Quick mag or and reflex on lmg .

Especially good on the M60 !

What about the marksman rifles? If there’s no reduction in burst delay in the M16, is it then totally pointless to use it on a single shot weapon?
