I went to an IB Art school, it made me HATE art. We painted still life using only yellow ochre, black, and white for what felt like 6 months straight. We never did a portrait. I graduated and didn't touch a paintbrush for 10 years because I was so discouraged. Now I'm an artist. Planning to homeschool my child so that they don't get their dreams crushed like I did in school. Thank you for being a rare, great art teacher!
