She needs a repaint. A better gold on the chest and pincers would help a lot. Also, a better bronze on the spider legs would make it pop.

Transform Element is treading on some incredibly thin ice there: "Blackwidow" just *happens* to be the Japanese version name for Blackarachnia.

And why the bloody deuce does a Legends sized figure require such a massive box!? The NewAge "Agamenmnon" (Megatron) doesn't even have a box that big.

It was Wei Jiang that caught some heat, not Black Mamba.

I see what you see in comparisons to IF, Newage and MS. However, they are way ahead of any of those other companies in show accuracy and, having tapped out of the crazy MP BW prices, these are really serving a purpose for me.
For consistency, I should note that I'm not a fan of partsforming and in a bigger piece I would certainly be looking for the alternate waist and extra hip flaps to be integrated into the engineering.
However, it is hard to imagine successfully making a working show accurate BlackArachnia. I think they made better compromises than the MP and failed much less hard in implementation (to the extent that I'd largely describe it as a success).

I came to almost the exact conclusions. The worst thing is how rough the paint is and that the colors are off.

So in theory, any 3P can be considered KO right? I mean why else did Zeta get HasTak’s foot on their neck over Unicron? If HasTak so desires, they could pretty much stop the 3P market all together couldn’t they? I’m asking, because I want to make sure I am consistent in my thinking. I mean how can a collector be OK with a Magic Square OP, when it looks JUST LIKE a HasTak property, but not OK with something else that shares a little more with a HasTak property? So a little theft is just better than a lot of theft? Very virtuous of the community to decide how much IP theft is too much IP theft.

Your Hatred for KO is making it hard to watch these anymore...I dont even consider them to be KO. Since they repair many of the mold issues and improve on the original design...but hey go ahead and buy your floppy kibble over priced originals...
