From 3rd to 1st place in a pit stop

Due to a ride height infringement during qualifying, AO Racing’s Porsche, ‘Rexy’ started the Battle On The Bricks from the back of the grid. After 5 hours of harrowing racing in the rain, Rexy made its way to third place in GTD PRO, entering the pits behind the Vasser Sullivan Lexus and the Multimatic Mustang. The AO Racing team was able to pull off an incredible pit stop beating out Vasser and Multimatic to take 1st place! They went on to win the GTD PRO class 🏁

This is why I love racing too.

It takes a team to win. It takes Engineers and Mechanics do develop a car with parts that can perform AND last. Then we have the pitcrew that is just as important. The speed they can perform and accuracy counts. They may do this a few times a race, but it can cost or gain time just as on track and every second counts.

Then we have the driver. i always liked to say a Car is just as good as its driver, BUT sometimes the car isn't, BUT thats where the pro(ness) comes and the best of the best can take a worse car and make it outperform itself.
