The Karnataka Raj Sabha elections have sparked the battle for the 2024 elections. The BJP and JDS have formed a coalition, while Congress is concerned about cross voting. To prevent this, Congress has moved all its MLAs to a hotel and conducted mock polls. Deputy Chief Minister D K Shiv Kumar is set to be the polling agent to monitor for cross voting. Kuppendra Reddy is the second candidate from the BJP-JDS coalition, which requires 7 MLAs for victory.
