Four MDC Graduates Awarded Prestigious 2021 Jack Kent Cooke Scholarships

Four MDC Honors College students have been named recipients of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s prestigious Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. They are Estefano Reyes, Kalid Gawon, Diana Gonzalez and Laura Santos. Congratulations to these outstanding students! They are a wonderful example of the drive and talent of our diverse student body.

Seventy-two Scholars from across the nation were selected this year to receive the scholarship. Recipients receive up to $40,000 per year toward tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees to complete their bachelor’s degree. Additionally, Cooke Scholars are eligible to apply for graduate school funding from the Foundation. And we should all be proud that four of those are MDC Sharks.
