Straight off the plane... we're wasting no time! We checked into our accommodation at a friend's place — he's from New Zealand but has lived in Japan for several years now. With only a few hours of sleep, we left early and headed down the coast to meet up with the Coffee & Cars Tokyo Facebook group. They were hosting a cruise in and around the iconic Hakone Touge! This touge route is one of my favorites from the Initial D storyline, where the Redsun RX-7 battles the Shinigami R32 "the Grim Reaper of Hakone".
