i suspect that even if they don't directly intend it, any kind of automated ship repair system will become the easy mode for ship building. They are essentially the same game mechanic. it would also be easier to balance, by being naturally slower

I have to wonder, not counting stations that are in the middle of nowhere, if it makes more sense to build and lease them out? Outside the safe zone, building and protecting a station is going to be quite the investment. especially for stations near gates, now you could use the YOLOL range limits to essentially set up a player detection grid, but that's only useful if you have some ships ready to meet and escort anyone who trips it and doesn't have an active transmitter on their ship, that's something probably worth paying for. Now for smaller outposts, a bit farther out and better hidden, you might not need as much protection,

cant wait to get to a planet then make a factory that can produce new factorys that can produce mining ships to produce resources to produce more factorys creating a grey goo scenario in starbase

why do ALL the video's you show SKIP like crazy every few seconds? its not my pc Intel I9 256GB ram at 3000MHz Dual NVidia 2080 super. so what gives? is that in game all the time as well?

any chance your asteroid belts will be changed they look pretty uniform all small chunks all the same size all the same space apart with no dense zones which is more likely as matter attracts matter. asteroid fields would never be so even and spacious plus is looks crap lol dense fields would be great for battles bad for CPU's lol so i guess meh
