If you're one of those people who doesn't format your code or write any comments, please do that.

He's right about the first one kinda, I'm not a programmer but I developed my own way of typing. You see instead of focusing on everything your trying to write and how to do it, instead you should focus on what your typing now and trying to do, and trying to do it as quickly as possible.
Sorry edited typing error

I’ve only been learning for a few years but on and off as I mainly didn’t have time over the summer but my main ways of staying more productive was music especially in noisy areas as it keeps me focused but may vary for each person. Another was using extensions to auto format so I didn’t have to put to much thought into it as well as auto fill extensions that will auto build a function for me such as a Switch statement in Javascript

Vscode itself already has so many key bindings that enables you to “not touch the mouse”. And it is way more user friendly to configure. I don’t see a point using vim unless you have no choice (like you ssh into a remote server)

Developers be like : Don't touch your code if it is working. I repeat, Don't touch your code if it is working. 😅

Being efficient is crucial but also being motivated too? How do you do it?

The argument for installing vim reminds me of when Kevin started using less words to save time in the office 😂

I use vimium and vim keybindings, but in addition to that a tiling window manager and vim-everywhere. Now I can do almost everything with the keyboard and get annoyed when I have to reach for the mouse.

I continually run the code in my head as I develop it. I've been doing it so long now it's second nature.

Unless you have a MacBP and a huge pad at 1 inch of the keyboard. Come on, we are in the 21th century, stop using vim and terminal it’s so 70’s!!!
