The first time I ever heard this song was the day she dropped Chromatica and I added the album to my iPhone immediately. I’ll never forget how I was so unsure of the world at the time and having being isolated from so many of my loved ones due to a pandemic, I remember crying over this song and also “rain on me”. I’m super excited to hear this song as a ballad because I always thought it would be so pretty slowed down. I had no idea she originally wanted it to be a ballad and that she didn’t want it to be a dance song, but I can definitely appreciate both
