Reate Exo Gravity Knife Overview

REATE EXO - It is hard to say exactly who this piece is for. Probably collectors and #useyourshit knife users, interestingly. And fidget lovers. So I guess that covers most of us. The thing is it is simultaneously underwhelming and absolutely spectacular. It is simple and elegant, which goes nicely with the overall theme of this piece. It is not expensive enough to be a safe queen, and it is an extremely good #edcknife .
As knife lovers We don’t get too many looks at gravity knives. David Deng and the team at #reateknives have been at the top of the production knife game for years now, and this piece carries on their tradition of excellence. Top notch materials, flawless execution and quality control, and on and on. There is a fair amount of blade play, but no more than any other gravity knife I have had, and not much more than the tightest #otfknives or #automaticknives . A bit more play than most #microtechknives for frame of reference. The thing is, if you have ever had or handled a #gghawk #deadlock , and experienced zero blade play, everything is a little disappointing. But just a little. I still edc my #microtechdirac and love it. That is the only downside to the exo - Blade Play. That and availability. Bottom line - If you ever come across one for 400- or less, and you have the cash to spend and a burning desire for a gravity knife, then get it. This is one I will keep for sure. And as a general rule, I have learned to hang on to my @reateknives pieces. Every one I have traded or sold I have regretted.
