Goodbye, PBS Kids Logo

It's the end of an era for PBS Kids. After more than 20 years, PBS Kids is officially ditching the channel's mascots, Dash and Dot, in the logo. So many have grown up with this channel through Cyberchase, Dragon Tales, Arthur, and more, but now it's time to say goodbye to an iconic part of it.

The iconic green Dash and Dot PBS Kids logo has been no doubt a symbol of my childhood. I grew up with it and it’s been there during the days of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Sesame Street, Arthur, Between the Lions, Teletubbies, and many others.

It is the end of an era for sure. I can live with the new logo, but I will certainly miss the one they’ve been using for the last 23 years.

I’m really going to miss this logo. Heck, I missed the old bumpers where Dash and Dot would find the logo in different places. The logo felt alive! Sometimes Dash’s face would move. I’ll really miss this logo.

Man it really sucks that dash and dot are being replaced by out of everything oversimplified logos this is the problem with companies they change logos for no particular reason

And there goes my ENTIRE childhood. No lie. My used-to-be neighbors would babysit me for some days of the week, and they had no cable. I would watch Dragon Tales, Arthur, Word Girl, etc. I miss the good days of being a kid 💔

I'm gonna miss this logo. As a kid who barely grew up with cable, this was my go to channel through freshman year. (I'm a Junior in high school now) The logo represented nostalgia, children, everything. To oversimplify an iconic TV logo from everyone's childhood is saddening. Well, now we have a story to tell future generations of the sad time when PBS changed logos.

As someone who revisits old shows that are re-runed constantly on PBS Kids from time to time, to be honest, I’ll never be able to look at PBS Kids the same way :(

I remember watching both "Fetch with ruff-ruffman" and "Daniel Tiger and friends" all the time, the idea that not only are those shows distant memories but also that they are replacing the logo that has been there for my whole life is depressing.

Dash and Dot? Oh my god, my memories, I remember watching Cyberchase and Dragon's Tail when I was a kid and seeing them, I hope we see them again in a new form of media.

I will miss this man!😭😭 When I was a little kid I always used to watch PBS Kids and loved the cool Dash and Dot logos and little animated things happening during commercial breaks and stuff.

This was literally my childhood
I would wake up and watch PBS Kids before school or any other day. My most favorite shows as a kid were cyberchase, sesame street and arthur but as I also liked the other shows on there such as Wild Kratts. Though as I got older, I slowly switch the Cartoon Network (that was when it was still good). It may be simply a logo change but I will miss the old childhood logo. Im glad I was able to grow up in the PBS Kids Era instead of the Teen Titans Go Era or anything else
