Can I used on ceramic coated car. My car is ceramic coated should I use this or ceramic detailer?

Can I use this on a fresh paintjob? I got nasty waterspots from a sprinkler, my only other option would be polishing.
I can't let the waterspots bake in the sun, it would cause even more problems long term.

I bought it but the store that i purchased it in didn't explain correctly and told me to let it dwell in the glass for a couple minutes under shade and i did it, but it left some ugly stains when the windows get foggy and doesn't allow me to see correctly, will it go away with a couple of washes or should i use another chemical or method to clean it?
