The Temple of the Sun, nestled at the heart of Wahda's Great Desert, is a vast, golden structure that serves as the spiritual center of this sun-scorched world. Towering like the very rays of Ossu, the god within the sun, its stepped pyramid rises from the sands, cloaked in shimmering stones brought by countless pilgrims. These stones, each carried across the desert and laid by the temple as part of the Rhilat pilgrimage, form a sea of rock and crystal—a landscape imbued with the deepest wishes and dreams of Wahda’s people. Pilgrims brave the journey to experience Nida'hana, a profound revelation about their desires, and upon reaching the temple, they leave their chosen stone in solitude, marking their communion with Ossu. This act of devotion transforms the Temple into a monument of Wahda's collective spirit, a place of hope, memory, and the undying will of its people. 📜✨

Hello, the one who made this submission here. Already responded to the pinned comment, but I am absolutely blown away by this. It is perfect and FantasyMeditations 100% nailed it and understood the setting.

I really hope you enjoy this - at first glance - rather simple idea. Just a temple of the sun in the desert in a world without stars. There is just the Sun, the Moon and Us. I invite you to think about it a little bit and what it means, what feelings it evokes and what you would do with this idea. It is yours to play around with!

In my opinion, "Starless Sky" is ultimately a setting about hope, about exploration and pushing forward against all odds. Even if you cannot see the way, even if you cannot imagine what lies beyond the horizon and even if you might not see the journey to the end yourself, you can be a shining beacon of inspiration that gives others the strength to carry on. I think people like this are desperately needed in these times. And I hope that during your journey, you will find that you are not alone. Even if it might feel like that sometimes, we are not alone.
