Nobody outside of England would think of Joe Hart as world class goalkeeper.

Pep have a specific type of GK to play in his tactics and Hart isn't that player simple as that

You don't become one of the greatest managers of all time by being soft with your decision making, Joe Hart wasn't good enough end of.

The knowledge of football from callers and presenters is shocking

Pep said to him that he either learned his way or he left. Hart didnt want to learn and off he went

Hart has actually said he wishes he made the decision to stay and learn

Don't forget, Joe Hart got 75 caps for England! He was unreal for City for the few years. Definitely under appreciated!

I’m a United fan but I’ll defend Pep on this. Pep is the manager and has a job to do…he isn’t and shouldn’t have to worry about whether he’s “ruining someone’s legacy”.

Players are entitled these days, and these idiotic ex player pundits don’t help.

Pep is paid a lot of money to make tough decisions and letting Joe go was his choice. If he doesn’t play Pep’s style, then he has to go. Why must a manager persist with a player that doesn’t fit the system? I like Hart but his legacy hasn’t been ruined at all.

Pep had Manuel Neuer at Bayern who was brilliant with his feet distributing the ball so it wasn't some new phenomenon to have a keeper who was the start of the attack. Also Claudio Bravo was regarded as one of the best keepers in the world at distributing the ball with his feet before coming to CIty. It was his shot stopping that became the issue. Joe Hart could never play for Pep

these two are ignoring that when joe hart left city he bounced around multiple clubs. Torino, West Ham, Burnley, spurs, Celtic. None of them really kept him long term. think celtic he was there some time.

But why is that then? and didnt southgate who just got england job chose pickford as no.1?

Don't EVER put Pickford and top goalkeeper in the same sentence ever again

What's wrong with this O'Hara guy?? He's opposing a change Pep made which propelled City into Greatness
Oh wait a minute, he's a Spurs fan..They have no idea about what "Greatness" and "road to victory" means 😂
Treading water is their cup of tea 👍😂

Bravo may have failed at City but Joe Hart was nowhere near him, would Luis Enrique bench Bravo for Hart in that 2015 Barcelona Team?

I don't think so, Bravo needed Time look at Onana now after his brilliant Champions League performance even De Gea started really badly but eventually become one of Thee Best shot stoppers.

Joe Hart thought he was immovable at City, but Pep ignored his status and shipped him out. It was as much about changing the club culture.

Pep is Man City Coach and not England Coach.

For all the so-called players that Pep seemingly improved, I can name a long list beginning with Joe Hart, who he failed.

Hart wasn't as good as he thought he was. His attitude during games was also very odd when he is in the tunnel shouting and screaming etc. His talk with Santo at spurs was also telling as he couldn't understand that he wasn't good enough and couldn't do the job required. He blamed anyone but himself. He went to multiple clubs, Burnley, Torino, Spurs and west ham. They didn't fancy him. Santo was right, he peaked and started declining. In scotland, he found his level.
