My Dad owned Navion he bought at San Fernando Airport in the mid 70s...Nice Solid Plane remember it well.

I flew Navion N4238A from 1969-1971. Solid, stable...good complex flight time. I was 19.

It is gorgeous (love the P-51) and so did I….just turned 75.

Got my young eagles ride in a navion. I remember him shaking the wing to make sure it was still attached. Lol. Cool plane.

Worked on one… it was a total mess waiting for a restoration that never happened. It’s under powered and hard to get parts for.

If you told me it was designed in the 70's or 80's I wouldn't have batted an eye. For a small private plane it looks modern to the casual observer.
