U.S. CHAMPION MASAI RUSSELL WINS WOMEN'S 100M HURDLES GOLD AT 2024 PARIS OLYMPICS

What a women's 100m hurdles competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics! Masai Russell (USA) leaned to a win in 12.33 (-0.3), followed by Cyrena Samba-Mayela (France) took silver in 12.34 and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn earned bronze in 12.36. The podium finishers spoke about the race with the media afterward.

Shelly is older now and just can't recover as fast as she used to after running the preliminary rounds and Shacarri reaction time in the blocks was average at best. Julien Alfred was in beast mode when she came out of those blocks. Not even Usain Bolt would have caught her. She won fair and square!

Jasmine is NOT from Puerto Rico she is from South Carolina and her last name is Quinn. She decided to start representing Puerto Rico over her own birth land and heritage for some reason. Imagine if other runners had mixed loyalties like this. Do you see Gabby Thomas saying "Hey, my dad is from Jamaica so I'm running for team Jamaica"? No. She honors her American birth land, her mother's American heritage and the country (U.S.) that made her everything that she is. That's a stand-up woman.
