Channel rename?! Please watch and vote!!!

Watch the video for more info on why but considering a channel rename from Ari in Beijing to Language Pushups or Mandarin Pushups. Please vote on one in the comments section! If you don't like either propose another (but only if you have an amazing suggestion), or say no, I hate both names, Ari in Beijing for life 萬歲萬萬歲!

Also, please provide some supporting reasons why! This is a channel for you awesome people and I really want your feedback! Thanks everyone for your support and you all rule!

I still really like Ari in Beijing even though you haven't lived there for a few years only because it's the name you started out with. Nostalgia, you know? But if you were to choose, I guess "Language Pushups" would be fine. :) Will still watch your channel regardless!

Of the two: Language... It's more broad and guides you in a direction that has room to grow (completely indicative of your most recent guests). Aside from that, I like names that connote the idea of someone getting over the common pitfalls as they attempt to learn a new language so words/phrases such as "breaking barriers" "demystifying" "overcoming" "transcending" "scale the wall" "dig under the wall" "breaking the wall" "leveling the walls of language" etc. These ideas are what begin to signify what your channel means to me.

Do not rename this channel. A lot of youtube channels have died off because they renamed their channel.

The problem if you rename it, is essentially you are re branding it when it does not need to be re branded. This means that there will be some people that may be subscribed to you but will ultimately not watch your videos because they cannot recognize your new name. You are re branding something that does not need to be re branded.

Also your current name is firstly known already to subscribers. Secondly, it promotes intrigue among your viewership. Finally, people know it, and the worst thing than having people message you about your name, is not having people message you about you name. At least the name is something that goes your subscribers intrigued

Don't change your name. I have seen it too many times where someone has changed their name, and then their subscriber base has flat lined.

I definitely like "Language Pushups" more for the reason that it's more broad and allows diversity. Also, it would bring in more viewers not specifically learning "Chinese", but instead viewers learning a "language". From a business standpoint, Language Pushups makes much more sense in my opinion. :)

I give it a 90% chance youtube algorithms mark you as an exercise channel if you call yourself "___ pushup". Also I think those names are a little too high concept to understand off the bat.

why not polyglot pushups? it leaves you open to multiple languages and shows the focus in languages while still allowing you to have a Mandarin focus.

keep the current channel name and avoid unnecessary rebranding. i don't think that the current name takes away from the overall message of your channel at all - a name change will only hurt you because it will alienate current viewers who associate you with the name ariinbeijing. your current name makes you stand out, and i still think it represents the spirit of the channel.

also, to be honest, i'm not a huge fan of the names "language pushups" and "mandarin pushups". they seem a bit boring and i think it would make you blend in with all the other language channels out there.

of course, it is ultimately your choice, but as someone who watches your channel regularly, i think it would be a bad idea

Just name it: ari say what?! Because we're watching the videos to hear what you have to say about language and what language you're speaking of. So it's like posing a sarcastic question like, Say what?! but instead, arisaywhat?! Hope that made sense! lol

I don't like either ariinbeijing is good but there is a comment below that suggested "ARI SAY WHAT" i like that one it has like funny cool interesting beat to it and catchy like you wanna know what this channel all about so I think it will attract people to the channel but if you don't like any suggestions then don't change it . all the love to you from Egypt 💜💜✌
