any chance of a buffing tutorial? I know from experience that a dremel and glass polishing setup can fix scuffs on lcd panels and leave you with a little glossy blotch but doing that on a whole display seems neither fast nor efficient 😬

I actually more worried about the WOLED sub-pixel layout which makes text looks really bad.
At least the QD-OLED ver. 2 tries to make it look better, but what LG did about it?

Last night i was using my rog ally and playing at an even slightly lower resolution than 1080p and im thinking damn why does this look so lush and good? And i realized the rog ally uses a glossy finish, wow it really does make such a difference

If it made VESA HDR1000 then maybe, but QD-OLED sounds worth waiting for at least to see how bad the text subpixel issues are and how good the burn-in warranties

HP Omen just announced their 32" 4K 240hz OLED monitor. The difference is, theirs has Displayport 2.1 so it won't need to rely on the DSC crutch that DP 1.4 hobbles along with.

Hey, do you think they could do 4K 480hz.. but because of DP1.4 limitations they can not? i can already see a path forward to 4K 360hz in 2025 and then 4k 480hz after, just to sell us the same screen 3 times, but with unlocked framerates.

i own the matte LG 240hz oled and the AW 34 Gloss Oled and i just cant go back to Matte especially with Oled. I wish LG would have a glossy option...

Anyone help.. hdr not supported in the settings. Ive restarted computer and reset monitor settings. I've also checked for an updated GPU and windows drivers and updates. Display port connected.

Still waiting for a 27 inch sized monitor at 4k 240hz to come out to upgrade to. My office has 3 1440p 165hz monitor and I can only fit 27 inches monitors.
