In this video I describe why I purchased an NC Miata for myself, how the stigma behind is completely overblown, and why now is the best time to buy!

I haave a 2013 and I love it. I think it is by far the best looking Miata which is why I bought it. For me it has plenty of power and great handling.

Love my 2008 PRHT. Just a treat to drive and a blast to own.

Totally agree. I just bought a 2014 GT PRHT 6 speed and I love it. It's not ugly at all; it definitely has aged well. I felt like I paid a little more than I originally wanted to, but I do think they will hold their value well. Nice video; thanks.

Hey Hayward, Awesome video! You mustn’t forget that this was the very last generation with non-electronic steering!

Recently picked up a 12’ NC Sport jewel from Porsche Monterey with 22K(!) miles and love it. I didn’t want the six speed, leather seats or 17” wheels tbh. I’d missed the longer throws of my 95 NA 5-speed and was so lucky to find a NC Sport with low miles. I can easily afford all of the cars that you mentioned including a >2015 Cayman. Yet this toy is so low-maintenance, a blast to drive at any speed and offers an extremely-hard-to-find 5-speed manual.

Yours must be a blast to drive in the Bay Area, what tires are you using? I’ve got the Continental Extreme Contacts due to the higher UTQG with sport capabilities compromise. Super-sticky compound tires are overkill on this car unless your tracking or taking cloverleafs at insane speeeds.

Subscribed. I have a 2013 GT PRHT I bought 6 months ago. Your video is spot on, The NC gen is 90% of the ND with the hydraulic steering of the NA/NB for 35-50% of the price. Not to mention it has the most reliable transmission compared to the ND. The 2009+ versions have forged internals and increased redline in the MT versions. I bought mine personally because I don't think manual transmissions will be a thing in 10 years and the Miata is one of the most fun cars I have ever driven. Its not fun to rev out a corvette for 3 seconds and be at arrestable speeds. Anyways keep the videos coming and check out my channel for similar NC content.

Sold my 15 RCF last year and picked up an 07 touring 2 week ago. Already have done 1200 miles almost all backroads. Everything you said is right except I would definitely take an NC over and ND regardless of price. Its a better car.

Just picked up a 2014 Soft Top Club in True Red 2 days ago and my goodness, am I thrilled with my choice! You're so right about everything brother. This is the car to have for the value 100%!

I 100% agree with you. I am into my 2nd month with my 2014 PRHT GT, 6-sp M/T & all the upgrade options already in it, 48K miles for $15, 600. I'm 6'3", so the NC was the only real choice for me to fit in with comfort, which it is. I feel like i won the Miata lottery with this find. The haters can go grow up and leave me to enjoy mine. We love it.

Thanks for the video, totally agree. Haven't got my license for that long yet (germany) but had a couple of cars already. Started out in a 2013 Smart, sold that and bought a BMW E92 325i with the 3l N53 and now sold that and will buy a NC Miata. Hopefully it doesnt treat me like my bmw did
