I just saw her live in concert a few nights ago; you think you understand how talented she is, and then you see her live and realize you had no idea. Loreena is not just a musician, she is a magician and muse. They played this song and it's almost ruined her recorded work for me, she was so incredible live that listening to the recordings feels like clinging to a shadow of brilliance. What a transcendental experience.

My dad loved Loreena McKennitt. When we would go up north in the summers, he would put 'The Visit' and 'The Mask and Mirror' on in the car. Lots of memories driving through the wilderness while hearing these songs. I didn't appreciate them as a child, but being in my 30s and looking back on it today, those trips away from civilization in the summer and camping in the elements helped shape who I am today for the better.

My mother used to listen to this album on a CD Player when I was little. I remember my days getting a magic feeling whenever this song was playing. More than a decade later and here I am listening to this masterpiece with my mother and giving my days that mystical touch again. Thanks mom for your gift!

It was my second time seeing her.I still treasure the memories, as I went with my grown daughter and saw Loreena's music come to life anew through her. What a precious time.
