Jan -92.5%ile
April -94.3%ile
Got into iiit Kancheepuram(mechanical) in last round and studied for sem 1 and got 7.5cgpa and i got 1 month holidays so i started my preparation again from basics and gave jee jan session and got 97.5%ile and completed half 2nd sem and left the college for preparing for adv (didn't give session 2)

Lemme share my story. Maine bhi partial drop liya tha, and college me first semester, CGPA was 9.95. The endsemesters ended in December and Second Semester started from January. I had my first attempt on 27S2 and it kinda went well, got 140 marks and was expecting 97-98%tile. But, the inflation brought it down to 92.27. I kept my college studies continued and in Midsems, I scored decent, now with the endsems from April 10th and JEE 2nd attempt on 5th April, it was tough for me to decide. And on top of that, I had my chemistry practical exams on 5th 12PM, which I missed and still got O grade. And I had 5th April S1 paper, in which I scored 124. I lost hopes for qualification and kept working for my college grades. On 24th, the endsemesters ended well and on that night, I saw the general cutoff - 93.23.. i was shocked. And then, I checked my percentile in blurred vision 93.06. It was shocking. I rechecked and it was 60 instead of 06. It was a fair play of luck. Now preparing for JEE Advanced !!

Bhaiya you were very right. Aapne ye last year bhi kaha tha, aur aaj uss kaaran mai bach gaya, mai 2 time dropper hu, yes, ki hai harkatein. I joined VIT thinking of a partial drop, udhar padhai sahi chalrahi thi, but college ke kaaran time bohot waste hota tha. So I left within 25 days, took second drop, ghisa theek thaak mere hisaab se, and iss baar 99.473 aaya hai. Last year 85.759 aaya tha, ye second drop ne life badal di, aapki advise ne life badal di. Ab mostly IIIT-B/IIIT-A jaunga mai. Thankyou so much bhaiya. Thank you. I really hope I could do a podcast with you sometime in future :)

He is actually right about partial drop. Can say that fro experience, it's a very bad idea. I've seen many people in partial drop doing even worse than before.
