Kellyanne Conway: I don't believe microwaves were used to spy on Trump

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo grilled President Donald Trump's top counselor Kellyanne Conway on Monday about the president's unfounded surveillance claims.

When asked on Sunday by the Bergen Record about Trump's unfounded claims that President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower before the election, Conway had responded by suggesting that microwaves could be used for surveillance purposes.

In a live televised interview that lasted over 20 minutes on CNN on Monday morning, Conway appeared to slightly walk back her statement, saying she was "not Inspector Gadget" and didn't think people used microwaves to spy on the Trump campaign.

She is lying in the second interview too. She said she was answering a general question on surveillance. No. The interviewer asked her specifically if she believed Obama wiretapped Trump and this was her reply.

After I heard KAC's comment about microwaves I went to my kitchen to check mine and make sure there was no camera lens or a wiretap. Also there was a Wikileaks claim that the CIA can use TVs to monitor conversations. My TV did talk to me and said there was going to be snow in the Northeast.

I see Kellyanne has stopped dressing like a barfly, and more like a mom in middle America.

I really doubt Kellyanne understood 'whatever she heard' about microwaves used for surveillance - BUT radar is a form of microwaves. That is what doppler style radar uses to see with - MICROWAVES. My dad often referred to the radar they used as 'microwaves', the kind that he operated in the Navy for twenty years, starting with the radar he operated on board the USS Missouri and other Navy ships. And then the radar / microwave communication and satellites my dad went on to engineer and develop with Lenkurt Electric, and later GTE. I also noted the microwave (radar, laser, digital imaging, AESA, etc. etc) use in our newest three-dimensional surveillance technology, which includes 'microwave' surveillance technology. This technology is available to consumers, and has been for years. You might remember that the 'oven' effect was discovered when a man working on a powerful 'radar' system, had a snack bar melt in his pocket. That man had joined the Navies radar team for the same reasons my dad did, they both had an interest in radio waves and radar surveillance. Just saying... know what your talking about first, er Kellyanne..and everyone else, don't underestimate microwaves.

Two people Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer with all their connections could easily be on the boards of fortune 50 companies making up to a million/year. Makes me wonder why do they choose work for this guy? And lose sleep and hair.

To play devil's advocate: You can put a camera inside anything including microwaves. Also microwaves (not microwave ovens) can used in surveillance same as a laser to capture vibrations in objects such as windows to listen inside a building. A laser is limited to an external object whereas "radio waves" can penetrate walls and with the correct items in place can listen inside a room without any power source. look up: The Thing (listening device). She did mention turning into a camera though, which is odd. But heck for all we know the CIA has developed a way to interpolate the emissions from a microwave to make a 3D map of the interior of a building. LOL no need to get paranoid right? However, I saw a demonstration where they could track moving objects using the signals from the cellphones and or could have been wifi inside the building. Was not very detailed (interpolated blobs) but you could see motion (which was people). Seemed very dangerous and invasive. So why not a microwave, muhahaha?
