Modification of the Parrot Disco !!! ( mod. part 1)

I have installed two 2watt 2.4 boosters in the Disco to boost the antenna signal.
Hopping to get a longer range.
On the second video you will see the results.

This is the best mod I was able to get 3km
With out this mod I only get 600 meters

I’m not sure servo connector cables used to power booster will let enough current flow to fully power boosters. Should have used balance port of battery to power them. This way they probably working at dropped voltage and very low current thus not desired effect. Peace

you switch network to USA and you get it all depends what country you declare in network settings....Greece has

Um Im confused. Isnt one of the antennas 5.8 as the Disco can be manually put into 2.4 or 5.8 so therefore you are actually causing massive interference if set to auto select?

I made the same change but the disk parrot did not get the commands from the remote control I had to disassemble everything
