Mary, I hope that you get a kick out of this comment. My band was trying to play Crossroads and we could not find an arrangement that would work for us. I play Motown type guitar, the bass player is rock and the drummer is R&B. We tried the Cream and John Mayer versions and it just did not work for us. Then I stumbled on this video: "the Mary Spender" version; clean, articulate and musical. We tried it and the style fit us much better. Loved it. Here's the funny part, every time we are leaning a song, we talk about how the Mary Spender Band would play it!
