Meg, as a partner manager, can you answer why my channel, being a monetized partnership for almost 10 years, 100 millions views, 130k subs, was just de-monetized two days ago, and my "appeal" rejected? Why didn't my partner manager warn me I could lose my career for something so simple as not showing my face, or not talking in my videos? How could they simply yank my livelihood out from under my feet with no warnings, suggestions, or help?

Got this vid recommended from a YT tips email. Regarding audience, "Who was here for the hot viral hits, and who's here for you and your brand" is fantastic!

as a new YouTuber - learning about channel analytics was the best use of my time before uploading my first couple of videos.

Interesting. When I started my channel in 2010, there really was no roadmap, so I experimented and I analyzed other successful channels in my genre, and eventually found my stride. To be sure, I listen to viewer comments, good and bad, and I have made some changes based on them. But at the same time, I feel it is important to be authentic in what I produce. I cannot chase every whim or suggestion or my channel will become unfocused. I have found a way to produce the kind of content I am comfortable with and knowledgeable about, and as the word gets out, my subscribers and views are growing. An ongoing journey, and part of the way I keep it fun is by doing video the way I like it, and seeing who wants to join me on the trip. And what is the ideal video length... I still don't know. So I try, each month, to include at least one video of 10-15 minutes length, as well as two or three in the 2-4 minute range. And, as was said in your program, the right length for each video is often self-defining. And I'm digging the demographics of my audience; they're great people. I'm looking forward to more of your video productions that address issues and ideas for small-to-medium channels. This stuff is fun.

I struggled just getting to the point I'm at now. Now, I see what the reality and truth about being a small YouTuber. I don't want to have that name anymore. "Small YouTuber" we are categorizing ourselves. Not nessecerially in a bad way but small youtubers have only a few subscribers. I hope you read this and I hope it changes your perspective on growing your channel! Don't give up! You can do all things you put your heart♡ and mind to!

The way you approach the topics in this video was very helpful. Not too much information not too complicated.

My takeaway is that what I just watched his very usable and actionable.

One of the best videos on analytics that I've seen. I loved the conversational style, and what we should be looking for, instead of a "click here to see this" tutorial. Your brought the analytics to life by telling us not only where we should be looking, but why we're looking and what we're looking for. It makes the analytics much more accessible. I would love to see more like this, maybe do channel checkups with other creators. Thank you!

This video was full of a lot of great info. The first thing that I am going to check out is my traffic sources, especially key words. I also want to look into how many videos I was posting during my busier times. Thank you for this very informative video!

My analytics? Omg..this guy has all of it, numbers on his channel were quite impressive. If I have one hundred subscribers, should I also try improve the channel? or Should I wait to see if it's worth running at all? Meg, thanks for your analysis, it was great and very informative! I loved it!

This was very helpful. I took off a month or two to do soul searching, and then returned to make a hard 180 degree turn from the direction my channel was going. My channel, like Riyadh's, had good success (18K viewers in just my first 6 months), but I was just not looking forward to creating new videos due to the negativity my videos seemed to draw out of about 20% of my viewers. Also, I desired to make more uplifting content. So, now that is what I am doing and I find making videos that are true to what I feel about life is more rewarding even though I have taken a BIG hit in viewer loss!
