Costa Dorada Hotel Review & Tour in Bucerias, Mexico

We recently stayed at Costa Dorada Suites in Bucerias, Mexico & LOVED it. It’s only 20 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport and was in the perfect location - right in front of the most beautiful beach, incredible ocean views from our bedroom and patio, had a great pool and a private beach area with loungers. There’s also a restaurant onsite, so we found that this hotel is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for an alternative from an all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta. Just got back…stayed at Dorada in room 601(a)…..nice place…good value. Only did 3 nights so the studio was fine. I hadn’t been to the area in many years…(the mid 80’s)…we had an older photo art piece on the wall that shows the Dorada all by its self on the beach from that era…much has changed…but the seafood was still excellent…Lots of Canadians Ey??

We stayed there last summer for a month after watching this video. 👍 We played pickleball two or three times a week with a group of experts.

Wow just found this video from your other one. This place has changed. Back in 1985 when my husband managed this place, there was only the main building with a little discotheque out by the water. The view appears a little obstructed now with the buildings on the side. I remember the penthouse well and it had awesome water views. The decorating was soooo 1980s back then and there was also a separate bar area up there, but the front door looks the same. I do remember it being 3-4 bedrooms though so wondering if they downsized it. There were only three units up on that top floor.

Need to show the wife this. Only complaint from the place we stay at is the distance to almost anything. We said closer to the beach and closer to the action next time. Thanks for your videos! This place is definitely on our list for next time!!
