I love the Specialized bikes, I have a Demo 8 world cup edition, had about 3 Rockhoppers 4 Hardrocks and up till last week had a Camber Comp which I sold as the problem with it was not enough travel, it's the same with this new Epic, you can see the forks bottoming out and that's the same problem I had with the Camber, I've been riding for over 45 years now and I'm also a bike mechanic and build high end bikes, I know the Epic is an XC bike but it needs more travel up front, it's probably a good bike for racing but most people who buy these bikes will be using them on trails and bike parks wanting to jump them, just saying. Oh and the Demo 8 which I recently got instead of buying a new car is in a class of its own, well done the guy who designed it.
