Good question Michael, I think it's fine to tape down the pitch. Some players even use thumb tacks to hold down the pitch if you don't want to use spray adhesive to stick it out.

When you paint the board, do you undercoat it first or just roll on some matt or gloss paint?

Hi, I'm thinking of attempting to make a folding table for better storage. Out of the felt and astroturf which, if any, do you think would be best suited to being kept folded in half for long periods of time? Would glueing it down even allow me to fold? Any info would be great.

If you use the staples board, is it ok to tape down the pitch to the board or will it ruin the surface by stretching it like a cloth pitch.

Can i like nail the edges of the four corners so it can stay still in my gaming board prevent the folds on the pith??
