I had a 2017 Elantra T-Boned someone and airbag deployed and the knee airbag as well. Walked away with a slightly cut lip and bruised knee that’s all. No seat beat marks no concussion. Car completely totaled but I was perfectly fine. I feel safe driving Elantra

I looked this video up because my life flashed before my eyes going 80 on the interstate and an f150 pulled out in front of me from the shoulder of the highway. I thought for sure I was going to collide, but somehow my brakes worked fast enough and he took off fast enough that I didn’t die. Pretty sure my 2017 Elantra would have crumpled up at least the whole front and I’d be either dead or seriously injured.

Looks like the drivers air bag deflated too soon.

The driver dummy's head looks like it may have come in contact with the steering wheel through the airbag from premature deflation. This usually indicates the airbag deployed too early, thereby deflating too soon.
