John Gorka - Flying Red Horse (2021)

One Song Concert #52 is Flying Red Horse from my Out of the Valley CD. It's a song about what may happen if one of the flying red horses from the Mobil station should escape. I worry about these things and sometimes my worries turn into songs. This makes a full year of weekly One Song Concerts. I don't know when the next one will be, but I will be back. John, thank you so very much for this addition to this series. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I used to sing a set of songs to our kids at bedtime when they were little and I always ended with this one. It made me cry then and it made me cry again today. Tears of appreciation and hope for the healthy development and independence of our children. They are in their mid and late twenties now and while we remain all very close they have developed in a healthy and independent way. You are a very important part of our lives. -Tom
