I discovered this song last summer and promised myself 2019 summer will be different.
I got a job as a camp counselor, joined programs for helping children with disabilities around my town and am making time to see my friends even if I feel uncomfortable at times.
I just come to this song to vibe out now minus the sadness.

I'm italian. I was on a school trip in Edinburgh. One day a programmed trip got cancelled and we had to stay home doing nothing so me and one friend of mine escaped and took a bus to Glasgow. During the travel my internet connection died so i had to put in loop the last song i listened. It was this one. I kept on listening to this song for 2 hours, the only company i had during this risky childish adventure. This song and scottish country, one of my best memories.

I remember finding this song when I was just a kid. Didn't really care about what the man was saying, I just liked the song. But now, I'm remenicing on how much things have changed in my life. "I wish I could return to know that I could never stay". Love this line because sometimes I do wish that I could back and talk with my old friends just one more time. Summer time in my childhood really was a time to live but now it's just different. It's all like a dream, but it turned into a nightmare as time went on.
