Russian foreign ministry, in a statement, confirmed that Bashar Al-Assad has resigned following 'negotiations with various groups'. Russian miscalculation: 1. letting us-backed terrorists group and us forces linger around syria, 2. letting turkey-back militants operate in northern syria. As a result this combined group toppled the government. All that works for almost a decade to keep away the pipeline to challenge russia in eu is now lost, in the end us and it's eu backers won this war. Is putin thinking he can get syria back in 2026 after ukraine? Is he playing like a queen's gambit? Aside from us/eu, turkey will also put their men in the new government which will kick out iran's influence meaning less influence for putin to get it back. Wake me up after 5 years.
