Phil X is truly talented, a legend in his on way, while you can tell that Richie's bluesy feels are missing but Phil X doesn't leave any room for complains.

Nice !! And Jon's voice is maybe still not perfect but better than last year.. My dream is at least once again hear chorus livin on a prayer with his high voice live along with Richie.. But anyway this guy is 58, tries his best and i have nothing but very big RESPECT for him and love him forever !!!

Jon's voice may not be the same, but then again he is not 25 or even 30 when he first sang this, he is 58, let's accept that. Richie not being there is the big heart-break. Let's move on, no one remains the same. Enjoy the music!...Bon Jovi still sells 30 years on, most wannabe musicians have faded away, Jon, Dave & Tico are still together and that is more important.

Phil X is a very good guitarist, plays very well, makes a perfect cover but, ,, he is a cover guitarist. Sambora besides playing very very well, still creates beautiful rifs and solos on the guitar, and still composes excellent songs and lyrics. Since he left the band has never been able to create a successful song again. As for John's voice, I think he has improved a lot this year. Me and all the fans still hope in this life to see John and Richie playing together. Amen.

We all miss Richie, but I have to admit Phil does a great job too. If I could choose, ofc Richie.

I miss Richie too but Phil X is a phenomenal guitarist and got some serious pipes too!!! BonJovi has stood the test of time and still has an Amazing fan following!

So sad - but true. The power an the rock of his voice is gone as you could see in the last 10 years - it´s sadly only a whispering.

Every presentation is different in terms of when and how it gets done. No point in saying it used to be better way back when. It is known John has had serious vocal problems. I am amazed he was able to sing this as well as he did. He is human after all. Tremendous artist!

I am a huge fan of the band, and I gotta tell that I always focus on Jon’s voice since 2000. His voice changes every album and I enjoy it.

wherever Jon's voice is, i think it fits this song fine. He's not that of a 'young gun' anymore. And hearing this performance.. more tired and once again it's "all the same", "just to get home", "dead or alive" does it justice. I think.
Was cool to hear long notes. And still not that cool without mr. R. Sambora's "i still dri - i - iiive" and his trademark guitar part.
