Does everyone get a CDR in the time frame, the few years that is noted in their award letter? Does social security really remove people from disability once they’ve reached 60 years old, expecting them to go back to work at the year of 60 if there’s no claim of fraud by a third-party or something like that?

Im 50yrs old. I was approved for S.S.I. about a year and a half ago. They just terminated my benefits becaus they said I make too much money with my part time job and the benefits. They sent me a letter showing the months of how much i was overpaid. My wages stayed the same..their calculation is wrong. Why did they terminate before I could submit my check stubs?? Do they count Snap benefits into my income..or my tax returns?? Im desperate. I have to respond to s.s. within a month. Please help!! Thanks

Good day Ed, my sister(62) collecting SSI since last Nov has an amicable relationship with her ex (now 59) and he agreed that she can take the ex spouse benefit when he retires. She was a stay at home Mom when they were together years ago (10+) and since their divorce years ago, you state in this video she can collect on his benefit now. Would she receive his FRA(67) or 62 benefit and is it 50% of his benefit? Thank you…

On SSDI second time since 2017 due to cancer. Had returned to work in 2018 after participation in the return to work program. Worked full time until Oct 2022 for a second surgery. Returned to work in October of 2023. I asked at the time about the return to work program and was told by SSA employee that it work the same. I have gone to the office 4 times and called once regarding letters and told nothing was going on. I complied with sending in my paystubs monthly. Yesterday I received a letter asking for 6 months of benefits back. I made it very clear I was trying to comply. I would have very much appreciated clarification that the return to work benefits is a once in a lifetime benefit. I would not have taken the benefits if they had told me I would be evaluated with means testing!

Could you answer a question for me - husband retired,
We have disabled daughter withDown syndrome and disabilities from years of cancer treatment.
She gets money from SSDI and my husbands retirement account.
When I retire in the next year or two- will she then be entitled to half my PIA 18:59 -and then what happens to the other two benefits, what are the limitations?
Thank you in advance for clarifying this for me
