A QUEST TO CONQUER DIY ABSTRACT WALL ART (It's so much harder than it looks)

Today I attempt to make some abstract wall art for my home, It was much harder than I actually thought it was going to be and has gave me a totally new perspective on creating abstract art.

Using colours, patterns and techniques that were totally out of my comfort zone this was a completly different art experience and you know what? I totally enjoyed it! It was so much fun!

I liked both of the designs, but for me the more minimalistic ones go better with your bedroom :) This was a fun video, made me think of doing some abstract art too, it's been ages. And it made me think of using more of that rich dark green, it's such a lovely color but I tend to forget it exists when I do art xD So a very inspiring video!

I am SO IMPRESSED with how these turned out! I’m not a huge fan of dark green but loved how they turned out. Also, the minimal ones turned out brilliant in your bedroom. I think you were right to stop when you did. With the minimal ones in your room now, maybe all you need to do is mat them? Then put them in the A3 frames. It will give the prints a gallery feel and be the correct proportions.
You may have been just smooshing paint around the paper but you did a really good job of it! 🤩💗✨🙌🏼

I love the minimalist ones you chose in the end, but I agree that larger frames with a thick white mat might fill up that space a lot better. Maybe try gold frames?

OMG this is SO relatable!! I have a hard time stopping when I am making something too! I also feel like you are doing such an amazing job sharing these processes! It isn't an easy thing to share nor explain while in the creative process. A interesting trick for you to try make them look larger: you could try put a large texture mat or painted board and hang it behind the frames . Maybe gold or even pink XOXO. I love this, they turned out beautifully, I agree about bigger frames. I think the greens would've looked better with the pink if the green had more of a blue undertone!

I love the simple minimal look for the bed room, but more busy greens looks great for maybe the bathroom decor or hallway. What a cute little experiment, lovely treat😊
