Paul, this was nothing short of stunning! I love the effect the cling film gave but mostly how you refined the rock afterwards. And those colours, oh my. You really spoil us with these tutorials ❤️

Hi Paul and Margot, 🌸Thank you for taking the time to reply to my message last week, that was very kind of you. Today I have just returned from my Mums house, trying to go through years of memories and belongings, sadly I will have to do this many times before the house will be empty of any reminders of my dear Mum.
I was only thinking this morning that with all the events happening around this sad world of ours, I take comfort from knowing that in and through all this that God is my strength and rock. So when I came back from Mum’s with my car full of memories, I decided to first pop the kettle on and sit down to watch your and to my delight you painted ‘Rocks’! I had a few tears and felt comforted, Gods timing is always perfect.
Then I saw a news article about many of the Ukraine people are returning to their homes after finding out that most of the mainstream media are reporting false information about the incursion on Ukraine!
Thank you again and my very best wishes and prayers for you and all your family. 🙏🏼🦋🌻

The rock arch is stunning, but that water...WOW! To be able to see what's under the water adds so much to the overall view. Beautiful.

What a delight to wake in the night to your creation of a wonderful video and painting. And thank you again for wearing and displaying the colors of freedom. I love the way you captured the view-through-the-hole effect and also the rock texture with plastic-wrap. 👩🏻‍🦳🇺🇦🍀😻

❤ plastic wrap is one of my favorite techniques for rocks! Yes, the wax is definitely a permanent solution to preserving your whites, but it works well for those little sparkles in the water. Wonderful tutorial and painting 👍🏼

It’s so humbling to watch you paint. I’m really just starting out. Normally I’m a photographer, and so putting what I see on watercolor paper is difficult. Thank you so much, cheers!
