From DirecTV's broadcast of Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America, Jason Mraz performs "Whatever Mama Say" at Miller Park in Milwaukee on October 2, 2010. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.


Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help — what can you do?

This whole performance is terrible - on the band's part. I really hope the old band comes back...first of all, it slows down terribly. No one, including Jason, looks happy. At 0:53 the horn section doesn't know when to go up...pathetic. They also tend to miss a lot of their hits, and some of them don't play while others do.

At 1:40, Jason has to signal the other band members to be quieter. The audio mixing looks messed up here because the other musicians are making hand signals as well. (1/2)

The drummer also looks like he's not happy to be there, and the band is just dead in general. And where are the hits at all at 3:22?! No brass whatsoever.

And the video just cuts off...this is just bad and I feel sorry for Jason. (2/2)
