Main reason being the earliest dc transmission system where battery having 1.1v were used in series and parallel, and hence were standardised as multiple of 1.1 but now a day it not being kept in same ratio as 400kV, 765kv, 1200kv etc

It can be chaged according to transformer turn ratio, step up transformer and step down transformer, transmission also depent on current carrying conductor.

In earlier days, they take 10% extra voltage level for the compensation of transmission losses. And this is now a days generalized so still we use 10% extra but for very high transmission, losses are minimized enough so don't need to take 10% error margin

गलत जवाब इस हिसाब से तो 11.1, 22.2, 33.3 kv की लाइन होनी चाहिए थी
