Here are my first unfiltered Impressions of the LG G3

You're my go-to guy right now for phone reviews.
Everyone else seems to just state the specs, features and in the end say it's a very good device or "you won't go wrong with either" in case of comparisons.
That is not really useful, you can go wrong with a device especially if you're gonna keep it for 2 years.

to hear about the dead pixel issue, but you got these 3 units at such an excellent price that I am confident you will be able to sell them (either bundled with the G watch or separately) quickly and for a decent profit. So, please don't feel too bad...

I admit that the G3 doesn't really live up to the hype of the 2k display, but it's not a bad display. And it doesn't have a drastic affect on battery life, so no loss there. For me, it's about having a 5.5" screen in such a small form factor. As much as I like the OnePlus One, the size gets to me after a while.

I think a lot of the lag you were seeing at first was the device settling in and loading your profile. You could see the sync icon up top. A lot of devices will lag when they're doing that. I have Nova Launcher on mine and it runs great. I really don't think we needed it to be a 2k screen, 1080 would have been fine, but LG was looking to differentiate their flagship and it's getting harder and harder to do that (just ask Samsung).

Sorry about the pixel, though. That sucks. It's the first thing I check. I ordered mine from Korea, so I would have had a horrible time with a return if there had been something wrong with mine. At least yours is local.

Hey ... Was wanting a G4 but I found a G3 for only $250 US and so the bargain side of me won.. Coming from a 920 ... We'll see if I keep it ... Checking out the old reviews.

I saw this one coming, lol! I've told you my thoughts on 2k displays on screens this small. I about shit myself when I unboxed the G3 and had it next to an HTC One and Note 3. I like the phone for its features and build, and currently I use it almost every day. I don't see it when I use the phone by itself, but none the less this 2k idea is absolutely unnecessary until someone can do it right, and this is NOT right!

I think of upgrading to this, I can not find cheaper phone with performanse like this one, is the screen really bad, also the battery, is it overheating that much? Now i have poor HTC Sensation and it is rly slow. Is the upgrade to this worth or I should get Samsung Galaxy J7

Out of the box I agree that the G3 is pretty bad. After some tweaks the phone is now as smooth as my nexus 5 (not for everything  though). My only disapointment is that there's no unlocked bootloader as of now...

I'm thinking of selling it and buyin a one+ or wait for the next nexus. What do you recon?

I prefer the LG browser over chrome. No lag at all on my g2 running cloudyg3 Rom. Would choose the g3 over the +one because of the size and bezels all day all week despise of the whiteness.

This is why I took my g3 back after 4 days. Rubbish phone. Best looking though. But I didn't want something that lagged, had crap battery life and burnt my hand
