It’s Carved Oud from Thameen that gets the most buzz on account of it being a smoother version of Tom Ford Oud Wood

Got to smell the Lutens in shop, really like it. Pretty fresh in the opening with the rum, and settles into smoky cocoa on the dry down. Doesnt project much though I had to sniff my wrist to smell it.
Edit : As it dries down further it gets a bit balsamic while retaining the cocoa note.

I just returned from London & tried Taif Aoud at Harrods. It's definitely nice, without much emphasis on oud. It definitely reminded me of another fragrance that escapes me as of now. My nose was also fatigued after a long, Xerjoff visit on the 6th floor.

I cant wait for your full review for Le Papier. I got a 5ml sample from the boutique and its lovely!! Decent sillage too. I do wish it would come in an EDP concentration. I like it more than Fleau De Peau and miles ahead of Olene.
