Totally agree that horses can progress rapidly after winning a bumper and need to move on to obstacles rather than an entire season in bumpers..Also have to say Robbie Wilders is hot 🔥

All horses are different, some progress faster than others and some need time. Bumpers are great for educating your horse before hitting jumps at speed in a race scenario. A good trainer will know how much experience their horse needs and whether they need to stick to bumpers or not. Take having a very expensive in experienced horse, you want the bumper repute first so you can look after the animal. Like I said a good trainer should know their horse soon enough and go on to do things the other way round, look at noble Yeats and conegree, great training performances
