I basically don't bring any cash when I travel, I just bring my Wise card and withdraw cash at overseas ATMs. It offers a very good rate and saves me the hassle

The card took me around 7days to reach, last year when i was travel to europe i just convert my MYR to SGD the trip included CHF, EUR, GBP, everything is auto convert from SGD at the current rate . 10/10

cash is king, never abolish it (do so at your own peril/enslavement):
-never loses batery life
-doesn't need wifi/internet to work
-not relying on any connection to a 'system' or electricity
-physical/tangible
-anonymous/not tracked & can't be turned off

Received my card within 2 days from making the payment in Malaysia.

Unfortunately Wise card is not supported on Samsung Wallet in Malaysia.

Living in Shah Alam, placed my order for the physical card on monday morning and received it on wednesday afternoon. Imo, wise card is the most 'clean' and 'minimalistic' card other than the apple card ( which malaysians can't get yet ).

Edit : Personally i've been to Japan and Korea a lot of times and Wise is always my go to, other than that i just use cash. Sure there are times when the fees and stuff is not the best but honestly, with what Wise is offering i would just give them money to save headache. Though one thing i too cannot tahan is the holding and sending limit.
