Our theme for the month of November is: “Growing in Thankfulness”.
We don’t often think about it, but the Lord puts a premium on a thankful spirit throughout His Word! He blesses us abundantly and takes great delight in our acknowledgement of those blessings! Paul asks the question of the proud Corinthians in I Corinthians 4:7: “What do you have that you did not receive?”. As we enter the Thanksgiving season, may our attitude of heart be that of the Psalmist in Psalm 126:3 – “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” We will begin our consideration of thankfulness today with a question from our Lord. “Where Are the Nine?” is taken from Luke 17:11-19.
