What 😭 as an artist and someone whos part chinese i am APPALLED... Art is about 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 yourself, 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 the eorld around you and your emotions and putting it on a canvas, maing it into a sculpture, or a 3d model. Art is beautiful, whether its simple, detailed, monochrome, colourful, cartoonosh, anime style WHATEVER, I'm gonna have a word with that damn art teacher, I am aware it's a class, and art class is hard but like... No need to be so strict, those paintings were beautiful- they didn't need correction either AND MAKING THEM DESTROY IT?!?! OMG MY BLOOD IS BOILING 他是二百五？！？！

That's terrible. It's not acceptable to be judged or dictated to about what qualifies as art. These instructors need to go. I've heard countless stories about teachers with a God complex who believe they know everything and resort to bullying their students. This is one reason why many art schools are closing down; instructors have become too biased. I, along with many other self-taught artists, have found success without them. Forget about art schools and their nonsense.
