Properly maintain your new Eureka PowerSpeed vacuum

I like this vacuum for its light weight and good suction. I watched the video to figure out how to reassemble after cleaning the filter and it works well. Pulls lots of dirt, dust and cat hair out of the carpet. The motor produces a loud whine but that's my only complaint. I've had this for about a year.

This is the best vacuum we've ever owned. The fact that all the parts come apart and are cleanable is a game-changer. We now have four of them at our rental properties, plus one at the office, and one at home. As for the filter -- the instruction "Inside First" is a completely meaningless instruction. What's the "inside" and what does putting it "first" mean? That could be interpreted about five different ways. You should say something like "white side faces upwards" or something like that.

I just got one of these and it’s the best vacuum I’ve ever had. I think my favorite thing about it is it’s so lightweight. I can lift it easily. And I was actually surprised how easy emptying the canister is. I can empty it right in the trash with just the push of a button. I don’t have to touch any dirt or bags. And the automatic cord rewind is great. The only thing is, watching this video, cleaning the filter looks very complicated. Not sure if I can remember how to put all those pieces back together. Does anyone know how often the filter should be cleaned?

I go through Vacuums like underwear and I have had this 4 years! easy to clean and maintain, and sucks like a little league team. Eureka!!

I love this vacuum. it is light weight and easy to clean. I have a small house and it gets every corner clean. I would like to know how to clean the front shield over the roller.

Can we also rinse the canister that holds the dirt?

I would like to know how to remove the lower hose components to soak and clean the built up dust. I can smell it every time i vacuum. This vacuum picks up a lot of fine silt like dust. It just sticks to the inside of the corrugated hose.

This is a great cheap vacuum cleaner but I developed a loud screaming noise. It's so loud you can use it. What could be wrong?

Height adjustment does not work, if you turn it upside down and try to turn the height adjustment knob on eureka power speed vacuum you'll notice that it does nothing. It's not connected to the purple knob inside

I just bought one of these and nothing is clogged, but when I vacuum it just spits it back out behind the vacuum, I find myself vacuuming over the same area for 10 mins and even still, I am having to pick up whatever is left by hand.. not really sure what’s going on with it, have had it less then 3 months. Kind of disappointed
