Dude that engineering with the dino head shoulders is amazing

The diecast pieces on the weapon ends up just behind the legs of the dino mode, so I believe it was meant to be a counter weight to help with balancing since the legs are situated so far back on the dino. It does make for a weapon that's a bit too heavy, but I have been able to get it in some two handed poses without issue. I think it's one of the best Transformers figures released so far this year.

Despite the convoluted mess TF4 is, Grimlock and the Dinobots are one of the best things the live action had offered.

Grimlock's head looks a little like yoda's head without his ears and a spike on the top of his head.

I got this last month. Definitely worth every penny. Make no mistake, this ain't no oversized SS. Solid build and design, IMHO.

Impressive design. I myself feel that bot mode is where this fig really shines. It just looks insanel The more i watched the video the more i liked the fig.

I honestly thought this was a studio series upscale

I love how this figure looks but had an unfortunate quality control issue right out of the box… the plastic beam inside the chest that keeps the ratchet joints In place broke within seconds of just moving the shoulders. I mean might just be an issue on my copy but the other beam showed signs of stress even though it was right out of the packaging

AOE and onwards seems like a big middle finger to toy designers with the robot mode displaying no recognizable alt mode parts. Studio series did their best within mainline budget, but this is something else entirely.

It is so refreshing to hear PRAISE of a bay movie Dinobot. Well done having an open mind. Which is an unfortunate rarity amongst the fan base.

Why didn’t you do a comparison between this figure and the studio series grimlock? Or with the any of the other grimlocks?
