I personally think sea battery is good because most maps have water and I think they do a lot of damage although it can't see metal and shadow I still think it's good.

Stars essential for soloing hard if you dont have tomb or lord, since 10 maxed stars have somewhat high range and good damage, (like, nearly 2k dps) for sun cube boss spam at wave 42

here are some other tips:
plasma tower has super high dps when maxed so if you’re a noob i would recommend spamming those along the path (not in the way, of course)
glue gun, campfire, factory, and defab are low level towers that a lot of high level players use
try to get blade spinner as soon as possible when you hit level 15 because it’s a much better alternative to shocker and has super high dps and it has splash damage so it can take out spam cubes press easily and at max is even good for boss cubes
don’t get factory until you have more expensive towers like shocker, heavy turret, mortar, and mounted mini
don’t get sea battery (sorry jengle)
try to get glue gun as soon as possible too because it’s super helpful for almost any situation, even boss situations and even thought they can’t slow final boss cubes they can slow other cubes to buy you more time for the boss

Bro subs are CRAZY op for the beginners, because i got subs the moment i reached level 15, and used it until i got blade spinner (was lvl 25)

Sea batterys plus lv 3 camp fire will chew bosses so far it's my favorite tower
